Our Story
Little Treasure Hunt was founded with the inspiration from our then 5-year old boy in 2022 when he started his kindergarten. We were frustrated by the misplaced clothing, missing items and scrambled post-it-note that he carried between home and school, parents and teachers.
After much thought, observation, and consultation, it became clear that this was a chronic problem that a lot of school kids and their parents had faced. School life was busy and chaotic. Misplaced or missing items were common. That brought to our first trio- a pencil pouch, a larger stationery bag and a school tote bag. They were small and compact so my boy can carry easily in his backpack. All were beautifully designed and prints were fully customizable. Since my boy started using them, he has not had any misplaced/missing items in his backpack!
Trying to share his success, we started selling on ETSY and E-bay. We quickly realized selling customizable products in these big platforms was NOT easy! They lacked in front-end customer interaction. So customers had to send their “design” ideas with messages. A customer’s design idea can be back and forth multiple rounds. Even so, we may not fully capture the customer’s design intention sometimes. This greatly hampered customer experience.
Realizing the lack of a market solution to customizable products for school kids, we decide to build up our own website. It provides an interactive web design experience that can bring our customers’ full design spirit to life. WYSIWYG (what you see if what you get) means design becomes a breeze. We recently developed a reflective bandana that bring style, utility and, more importantly, customization, together nicely. Wearing it, your dog will be safe to walk, day and night.
